Our ‘New Generation Scholars’ partnership with Muse360 Arts & Youth Perspective Baltimore.
New Generation Scholars is a free youth leadership and study abroad program in Baltimore. Beginning in October of 2018, A Looking Glass Project (ALGP) joins Muse360 Arts and Youth Perspective Baltimore on a journey to learn about the African Diaspora and it’s roots in the City of Baltimore with Dr. Jessica Johnson of Johns Hopkins University and creative writing with Lisa Snowden-McCray (Editor in Chief of The Baltimore Beat).

ABOUT NEW GENERATION SCHOLARS
New Generation Scholars (NGS) has served over 300 youth in the Baltimore Area since 2007. Our scholars have experienced high-quality art education beyond the classroom by traveling domestically and internationally to study the African Diaspora in New York, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, New Orleans, Dominican Republic, Eleuthera, London, Paris and Cuba.
NGS provides youth with a 3-phase leadership program that encourages scholars to engage with their peers to learn, to create meaningful content, and to engage in various college–style workshops and leadership training that will prepare them for the future.
